- Check the power connections
Check that all power cables are securely connected and that there are no loose connections. - Power cycle the printer
Unplug all power connections, including the power cord from the socket, the power block, and the power connection from the back of the printer.
Leave the printer unplugged for 30 seconds, then reconnect all power connections and test the printer again. - Test with a working printer (only if you can)
If the venue has more than one printer, use a known working printer as a Test Printer.
Temporarily swap the printers to help identify whether the issue is related to the printer or its power supply. - Identify the faulty component
After testing with the Test Printer:
• If the Test Printer does not work when connected to the original printer’s power supply, the power supply may be faulty and may require replacement.
• If the original printer still does not work with a known working power supply, the original printer may require replacement.
